What an interesting episode of the season! The character and the lore build-up are currently processing to the max! The animation still holds well despite its age, and I found it amazing!

This episode is pretty slow, as it's mostly focused on Fumiaki adjusting to life in 1999. It introduces a few new characters and sets up some plot points for future episodes, but not much actually happens in terms of the main story. That said, the comedy is still strong enough to keep the episode entertaining.

This episode is fun, mystery heavy that brings in some really quirky side characters. Watching Maya and Fumiaki try to work together is pure comedy. The plot slows down a bit to build up the school's weird lore, but the creepy atmosphere is perfectly executed.
