What a fascinating episode! The backstory and lore drop is on point! The aggressiveness and brutality of Maya is never quite a complaint HAHA. I always like the dark, gritty, and goth theme of the whole series!

The action begins in this episode. Fumiaki is such a hilariously protagonist, but it works so well against Maya's tough girl attitude. Pacing is super fast and it's highly entertaining.

This episode jumble every elements into the mix, like time travel, psychics, the occult,etc. Many anime does this, but this is definitely entertaining. Most of the episode focuses on introducing new characters and expanding the world. Maya continues to be the highlight with her expressions and reactions. The supernatural case wasn't really resolved in the most satisfying way, but overall it's still an enjoyable episode that keeps me interested in what's coming next.
