I really enjoyed the cosplays Marin did in this season, and they didn’t sexualize her as much as before- but the pacing and writing of this season weren’t the best.

Felt like a step up from the first season in every way. This season has much stronger creative direction and feels like it’s having a lot more fun.

Lo que hace que la escena del hotel del amor sea tan brillante y positiva no es solo el evidente fan service , sino lo absurdamente real y humana que se siente . En la mayoría de los animes, estas situaciones se sienten forzadas o caen en clichés aburridos. Aquí, es un choque de trenes de hormonas, vergüenza y malentendidos que cualquiera que haya tenido 15 o 16 años puede entender (¡y sufrir!). Marin Kitagawa decide hacer una sesión de fotos de su nuevo cosplay de Liz-kyun, y el único lugar disponible con la estética adecuada resulta ser una habitación de un hotel temático. A partir de ahí, el episodio se convierte en una clase maestra de cómo romper la tensión con comedia pura.

My take on this season remains the same as season 1—PEAK! The only difference here is that the ship has sailed far and wide now. The lovely-dovey scenes are definitely the most enjoyable ones. That said, it’s a little frustrating that they still ain’t together. While the pacing is a bit saddening, it’s not that hard to understand. To be honest, there’s still a lot to work on in their relationship. Still, it’s not really a flaw in their characters—it’s just a small issue with their confidence. I’d rate this season a 9/10. I cannot wait for season 3!

i felt so bad for shinju because she was terrified of the blood but she did it all for her sister and that is just the sweetest thing

the gothic nun costumes were incredible and the level of detail they put into the props for the coffin game shoot was amazing

it made me laugh so much when akira finally broke down because she was just a massive marin fan trying to act cool

I can't believe Akira was just a massive fangirl the whole time and her acting so cold was really just her being too nervous to talk to Marin properly

the animation is great but the romance is moving so slow and marin didn't even really say the words at the end which is kind of a letdown

sajuna looked so regal as the nun claire, and the way she smiled at the high quality shots from the camera really showed how much she cares about this.
