This was incredibly satisfying! The group cosplay turned out so well that there’s nothing to nitpick—whether it’s the production, the animation, or the story. But the way it ended with Marin and Gojo’s wholesome interaction, especially the final scene, is my favorite of all.

What a great way to end the season. The costumes, the pictures, and the characters? they are all absolutely beautiful. I learned a lot of camera stuffs just by watching this anime. The animation quality is on top.

The part from when they go home to when Marin and Gojo take a selfie is an anime-only scene. Another educational episode in considering angles when taking a shot. Every episode was perfectly adaptated and some of them even have gone beyond. I like the realistic environment art that studio CloverWorks did all throughout the season, hopefully they are still the ones doing the final season of this anime 🙏

We finally come to the group cosplay, which also marks the finale of the season. The visuals and animations in this episode are well done, and seeing Akira simping for her oshi is cute and kind of wholesome

the FINALE visual quality is ABSURD. every costume detail is crisp. the group shots are beautifully composed. the lighting during the photoshoot scene is soft and dreamlike. the OST reuses motifs from earlier episodes in satisfying ways. peak romcom energy. 🏆

i felt so bad for shinju because she was terrified of the blood but she did it all for her sister and that is just the sweetest thing

the animation is great but the romance is moving so slow and marin didn't even really say the words at the end which is kind of a letdown

the gothic nun costumes were incredible and the level of detail they put into the props for the coffin game shoot was amazing

it made me laugh so much when akira finally broke down because she was just a massive marin fan trying to act cool

I can't believe Akira was just a massive fangirl the whole time and her acting so cold was really just her being too nervous to talk to Marin properly

sajuna looked so regal as the nun claire, and the way she smiled at the high quality shots from the camera really showed how much she cares about this.

akira being a secret fan girl made so much sense and it was so funny to see her finally lose it when she was around marin

Marin's whole squad looked so adorable in their nun outfits, it made me smile just seeing them all together like that. And Amane, wow, she totally embodied that character; I was really impressed with how she transformed!

Marin's quiet struggle on that train ride home was just so palpable, I swear I could feel the weight of all the words she wanted to spill. You really see her love for him glowing in that soft lighting, and it makes me so impatient for Gojo to finally catch on.

I was really hoping Marin would just say the words this time, because she promised herself she would, and then she just gave him a hug instead, and it was still a beautiful moment, but my heart can only take so much of Gojo being this oblivious to what is right in front of him even after that sunset walk home.

the way gojo poured that fake blood over the cake was kind of intense and the dark studio lighting looked amazing

Shinju totally surprised me during that gore shoot; I could tell she was so creeped out, but she absolutely powered through it for her sister and the whole group. Seeing her overcome her fear like that, especially considering how reserved she was back in season one, really showed me how much she truly cares for everyone.

Seeing Gojo pouring fake blood over a cake while everyone else was freaking out was such a bizarre and cool highlight and the photos they got at the end looked incredible

My heart actually broke when Marin tried to talk to Akira and got shut down but then finding out Akira is just a huge fangirl was the funniest twist and I loved how she just started sobbing

The lack of a confession after all that buildup in the morning felt like a letdown and focusing so much on side characters made this finale feel a bit disjointed compared to how season one ended

EPISODE CONTEXT

As the twelfth and final episode of Season 2, this follows the emotional and creative momentum built through Marin and Gojou's cosplay journey and their increasingly honest interactions in Episode 11. Rather than introducing new conflicts, it serves as a reflective capstone that synthesizes the season's themes of growth and deepening bonds. The episode wraps up the current narrative arc while leaving the door open for future developments in their relationship.
