Leviathan

If you’re looking for a deep storyline and rich world in a beautiful, bite-sized, soul-crushing, energy-lifting package, oh boy do I have an anime for you. This mid-fantasy anime was a breath of fresh air that I couldn’t stop watching.

Finally we see developments between Alek and Sharp! Although I love the progress of the show and knowing that it's about to end soon, i still unable to predict what's the outcome of their wars.

Chaos & lot of emotions. That was a well written ending to the S1. Alek & Deryn grew so much as characters & the change they brought in the world was evident towards the end. Them parting ways as they have different dreams & responsibilities as was so emotional. The CGI in animation & melodical music fit the series really well.

Intense! The build up for this calamity called goliath paid off & the execution of stitching the coming dilemma is flawless. Alek's character never wavers from doing things for greater good & is going to face a tough battle. Finale is set the be larger than life.

The reveal, awkwardness, wholesomeness, acceptance & forgiveness displayed a 360 view of the bond between Alek & Deryn. I like how that was the focus of the episode & it wasn't rushed or swept under quickly. The aesthetic of New York reminded me of Bioshock Infinite.

A slower episode focused more on where the journey is headed next. The opening sequence of training was nice as it shows they're always preparing. A space between Sharp and Alek is visible because of Sharp's secret. Hopefully the pacing picks up in the next episode again.

Action-packed episode with clankers going at each other full force. The entry of Behemoth was my favorite scene. I like how they still didn't reveal all of it. There were wholesome moments & very heartbreaking ones too, regardless that cliffhanger brought up the hype.

The main characters interest coming to a common point and it seems Deryn is acting a bit more with feeling towards Alek too. The underwater mission gave James Bond vibes, their trio is strong. Overall, the episode was a mix of wholesome, funny & some heartbreak moments.

I love the Middle East aesthetics integrated with clankers. The story is developing further & stakes are getting high & everyone has their part to play. A civil war is brewing during a World War? Interesting. Nene is a very smart lady, she caught Alek's bluff in a second.

The theme of the episode was sad, but we all saw this coming. The sea scene was visually amazing and they did a good job with the direction of the episode till the climax. The declaration of friendship in the egg room was wholesome, which made the ending sadder.

Great display of comrade, sacrifice, integration & belief. Alek & Deryn are getting closer & their developing bond gives hope to the future between Clunkers & Darwinist, but they still need to work on trust. CGI is growing on me and I think it is a good choice for this series.

This episode gave depth on Clunkers & Darwinist, two ideologies on how to advance as humans. It's an interesting concept & mirrors real life ideologies too. Alek & Deryn's encounter was funny, I can see them becoming friends. A wholesome episode, the pace is picking up too.

The world building is fantastic, imagining the war in a fantasy style is engaging with novelty. We see some character growth in Alec, the music scene in sync with his training is well put together. Chaos is unfolding. Interesting to see how Deryn & Alek's paths will meet.

The story is set in WW1 but with big robots & giant creatures. The animation is CGI, but the visuals were captivating. Interesting to see two kids in war in this kind of world setting. The pace was a little slow, but I have high hopes for this.

I enjoyed this. It wasn't a masterpiece of storytelling, mostly due to the silly and unrealistic decisions made by a lot of the characters, they just felt a bit too forced so they could move the plot along. It felt like a good kids series though. Those are my opinios haha.

Beautiful episode, it really hit me. I feel a bit bad for Volger but at the same time I'm happy that Alek has stopped being indecisive and knows what he wants to do now. Whether it's ultimately the correct choice or not remains to be seen.

"Why didn't you trust me with your secret?" Immediately proves why he can't be trusted. Haha it is just crazy, and that new suit is really not good to the eye, i don't like it. But damn this episode is just insane!

An amazing episode honestly. I love all the characters. And i am glad Alek already confronted Deryn about the realization the next episode instead of blue balling with it until the end.

A funny one honestly. I love it. Lilit was a pretty fun addition to the story. Alek really needed someone to push him more towards Dylan. And looks like he finally realizes Dylan's big secret after all the hints. It was hilarious to watch. Do not skip!

A good episode, slow pacing. Alek is finally starting to realize what he wants to do but on the flipside Dylan seems conflicted where she wants to stand in all of this. It's very clear she has feelings for Alek so I'm guessing she's ultimately choosing him over her country.
