Great display of comrade, sacrifice, integration & belief. Alek & Deryn are getting closer & their developing bond gives hope to the future between Clunkers & Darwinist, but they still need to work on trust. CGI is growing on me and I think it is a good choice for this series.

What I found funny was that it was later in the episode, they have stopped to take a break and they apparently had monsters on board they didn't think to toss to lighten the load.

Alek trying to figure out that message from his dad while hiding in the snowy ruins was so stressful, you can really see the pressure getting to him. The way Deryn looked at the sunset from the observation deck felt like a rare peaceful moment before things get crazy.
