The reveal, awkwardness, wholesomeness, acceptance & forgiveness displayed a 360 view of the bond between Alek & Deryn. I like how that was the focus of the episode & it wasn't rushed or swept under quickly. The aesthetic of New York reminded me of Bioshock Infinite.

That scene in the engine room where Alek finally confronts Deryn felt so heavy, the way the light flickered made the tension even worse. I loved the small detail of Deryn nervously twisting her flight goggles while she talked.

Episode Context

Coming off the mysterious Siberian events of 'Tunguska,' this episode pivots from external spectacle to internal reckoning, using the fallout to pressure Alek and Deryn's relationship to its breaking point.
