📖 SYNOPSIS

Set in the early twentieth century, "Golden Kamuy" follows Saichi “Immortal” Sugimoto, a Russo-Japanese War veteran struggling in Hokkaido's postwar gold rush. His life changes when he discovers a map leading to a vast fortune in hidden Ainu gold. Driven by the promise of wealth, Sugimoto embarks on a perilous journey to find it. However, he is not alone in his pursuit. Others, including ruthless criminals and rogue Japanese soldiers, also covet the gold and will stop at nothing to obtain it. Navigating the unforgiving northern wilderness, Sugimoto must rely on his skills and luck. He finds an unlikely ally in Asirpa, an Ainu girl, whose knowledge and expertise are crucial to his survival. Together, they face the dangers of the harsh environment and the deadly competition for the treasure.
