It's been a while since I have a good laugh watching an anime episode. This episode have a really interesting comedy inside it, the tattooed convict in this episode is also shown to be an interesting character. For the epilogue, I would say it make me auite intrigued about what might happen next.

I have mixed feelings about this one. It’s good, but not fully satisfying since it shifts away from the momentum of the previous episode. Still, it feels like setup for what’s coming next, so I kinda get it. But I wish they'd be consistent with the pacing.

Episode Context

As episode eleven of twelve, this is the penultimate chapter of season one, arriving after the group reached Sapporo and gathered supplies in the previous episode. The murder hotel scenario introduces new threats and complications that serve as a pressure cooker before the season finale, escalating stakes at exactly the right moment. It functions as a bridge between the Sapporo arrival and whatever climactic confrontation the final episode delivers.
