Golden Kamuy Season 2
Oshimeter
Synopsis
In Hokkaido, it is rumored that there is a stash of hidden gold. This gold was supposedly stolen by a man who killed the original Ainu owners; and before being captured and imprisoned by the police, he hid it in a secret location. In order to relay the gold's location to his comrades on the outside, he tattooed the map on the bodies of his cellmates and promised them a share of the gold—provided they managed to escape and find it. In Golden Kamuy 2nd Season, First Lieutenant Tokushirou Tsurumi plans to give the 7th Division an advantage in the war for the tattoos by getting a taxidermist to create skins that only he can distinguish as fake. Meanwhile, Saichi "The Immortal" Sugimoto, Asirpa, and their companions continue their hunt for the skins by following a strange rumor: a thief who broke into a home in Yubari found taxidermied human corpses, among which was a torso with strange tattoos.

i wasn't ready for all those lore drops 😭 the emotional punches hit different when u actually care about the characters cultural context woven in naturally as always love that for us. surprises kept me on edge throughout. solid ep honestly Hahaha
A powerful and brutal finale, where emotional tension peaks and every moment feels impactful.
The tension ramps up as the story shifts between multiple high-stakes situations, with chaotic moments and constant uncertainty keeping things gripping.
Presenting the execution phase in the tactical dynamics of the story more actively, more tense, and remains intelligent in building conflict.
Each character reads the situation, and small decisions have big consequences. This makes it even more exciting to watch.
This episode features increasingly sharp and focused character interactions, with a more serious feel but still balanced with touches of dark humor.
This episode leans more into character interactions and subtle tensions, blending quiet moments with the series' signature dark humor in a way that keeps things engaging.
A deeply emotional detour that fleshes out a crucial character's backstory, exploring heavy themes of guilt, duty, and tragic loss.
The clever use of the environment combined with the stunning visual direction makes it one of the most memorable and spectacular tactical decisions.
This episode provides a brilliant glimpse into how various factions handle a high-pressure espionage operation. It's surprisingly intertwined with absurd events and hilariously wacky comedy.
This episode perfectly balances brutal action like fierce clashes and hilarious comedy.
YEAH WELL, it was nice and enjoyable! I think this episode didn't really have much of a great point beside telling us where to go next. Actually I was really confused about the political touch and who is in the right side. Everything shifted so fast I need to grip and think. Lit!
SEATED!! TOTALLY SEATED!! it was very intense and chaotic and full of actions oh my God the prison scene? EPIC!! the way we're going to get confused about each other character sides here is also gold like, we would enjoy a thrilling action with a working mind. And thats PEAK 🙂↕
THE JOURNEY OF UNVEILING MYSTERY NEVER BE THAT EASY and this episode prove it. OMG I can't shut up the way it ended with the most chaotic ways to make you eager to click next episode. It was very intense, with a perfect pacing and perfect character coordination. Off to the next!!
WHOAH this is intense!! the way they acted in the dark would go down to my legendary list of anime's fight. It was lit in the way of I could literally watch them and their strategy all night (in literal night) until the dawn came (like, literal). 🤚
The way they unveil their true colors one by one and the side they're working with alongside with the twist of background stories, the reasons they're "here" it's actually impressing. I don't understand how they always served something new to the table on each episode perfectly!
The way we're going to be introduced to another Anui's culture with so much joy (eventhough we knew there might be a twist in between them) and then it shifts to the tragic background story was so... Amusing. This episode has the perfect mix, honestly. And I'm really up for it
OHHH it was so emotional!! We're taking aback and introduced to one of our key character's background story and it was very... 🤚 So this whole episode basically talking about it, the way you can feel any mixed emotions here. Anger, sadness, even the happiness is here too
The actions are here! The thrill we got from the very first scene is iconic. I think this episode got a perfect package from everything they offered us, the action, comedy, the strategy and decision making. All of that and it ended with a wholesome conversation between our duos.
THIS EPISODE IS SO FREAKY (in a positive way), I can't help to shook my head while laughing at it! The comedy was unexpected but still struck on my head! (talking about hospital scene...) Which made me realize that I forgot they got action as its genre too...
