There are two phase of this episode, flthe first one is a nice action and interesting battle. The second one have a revelation that make you say "Wait, what??!". Overall a nice episode.

Whoa, that was freaking intense for Tanigaki. He barely made it out alive. The tension was real! The new character feels a bit suddenly thrown in, but I guess it helps connect the bigger story moving forward.
