A quieter episode on paper, but it deepens the series in all the right ways. I really loved learning about Ainu culture!

The stakes definitely become higher in this episode. The introduction of the factions involved are done well too I think, so 9/10 for this time.

Holy crap, things escalated fast! The sudden brutality was intense but really well done. We also get more insight into the world and some historical touches. The pacing still holds up nicely and keeps things engaging.
