emotional payoff that felt EARNED, Holo finally getting the words she needed to hear, and the calm before the storm that has me on the EDGE OF MY SEAT. Also Lawrence saying "stay" like it was the simplest thing in the world, and Holo's face breaking open.this episode is amazing

Lawrence betting everything on pyrite, a rumor, and perfect timing. Holo waiting at the window, not eating, not sleeping, ears listening for footsteps that haven't come yet. every moment of this episode had me holding my breath.

Lawrence leaves town to chase a risky deal, knowing if he fails, he loses her. and Holo just watches him go, trusting he'll come back. the tension is suffocating and i'm STRESSED.

i'm not okay. this changes everything. yoitsu is gone. holo has been searching for a ghost. and lawrence has to be the one to tell her.

i'm not okay. this episode was perfect. the tension. the payoff. nora being the absolute queen she is. holo watching with pride. lawrence grinning like an idiot. apples.

holo acknowledging nora as an equal shepherds have to be strong. wolves hunt them because they're challenging, the respect. i love these complicated women. next episode is gonna be wild.

Emotional devastation that hurts so good, a reunion that made my heart explode, and our boy Lawrence finally stepping up and saying the words she needed to hear.

Episode 9 perfectly Jealous Holo is peck entertainment, Nora is hiding something and we need to know what, and the stakes are climbing with every scene. also Holo's fingers going white on the table?? the detail. the animation. she is NOT okay and neither am i.

Lawrence finally not flinching? growth. the shrine being overgrown but her still finding peace there? devastating in the best way. this episode was everything i needed.

This episode was so good. the pain. the trust.Lawrence walking away from Zheren. He doesn't take the deal. He chooses Holo. He chooses the promise he made. But he's still broke. He's still stuck. And now Zheren is probably his enemy.
