tension that never lets up, emotional gut-punches that remind us why we love these two, and a cliffhanger that has me desperate for the finale. also Holo's "i didn't survive centuries alone to lose you to a priest with a ledger" is one of the most romantic things she's ever said.
I think the situation got sorted out within them. But there's a lot of things might happen while dealing with their situation. I feel like this episode is a lay out ground for the tension building in the next episode.
The situation is explained, but there are many intentional loopholes that put them at a disadvantage. A tough spot, with everyone wary of them. There’s an easier way out, but knowing them, they’ll take the harder, and more rewarding, path. That's why it's interesting to watch.
