It’s grounded, and the chemistry between the two leads is already better than most rom-coms out there. Watching Lawrence realize he’s way out of his league while Holo shamelessly milks him for expensive food is hilarious and feels totally natural.
The pace is still slow but enjoyable. Daily happenings are interesting when well written, and this show does it. Their relationship makes you giggle. The world also expands as it explains how things work now and how they worked in the past. You can really visualize the contrast.
A total vibe shift from the usual action-heavy titles. It’s laid back with solid pacing, even if the world-building feels familiar. No major plot hooks yet, but the chemistry is carrying. Sometimes you just need a break from the chaos. YOU CAN SKIP THIS.
