The animation quality isn't that great especially to the action scenes. However, the bond between the characters creates an impact in this episode. I think the last part is a bit emotional. Overall, it's kinda good.

This episode is a masterclass in tension and double-crossing. If you thought the forest was the only danger, the urban betrayal in this episode hits even harder. It is the ultimate payoff for the entire gold smuggling arc.

Episode Context

Episode 12 sits at the critical turning point of the gold smuggling arc, dealing directly with the aftermath of the Remerio Trading Company's betrayal in Episode 11. This is the pivot from crisis to counterattack, as Lawrence and his allies shift from reeling to strategizing their way forward. It sets the stage for the arc's resolution in the coming episodes while deepening the central relationship dynamics that will carry the season's back half.
