Kamisama Kiss Season 2
Oshimeter
Synopsis
A gutsy, down-on-her-luck high school girl with no place to call home, Nanami Momozono somehow ended up as the land god of a rundown shrine, and season two picks up right where she left off, still underprepared, still stubborn, still making it work. This time around, she gets an invite to the Divine Assembly in Izumo, basically a summit meeting for gods, which she attends with her snake familiar Mizuki while her fox familiar Tomoe stays behind pretending to be her at school. The real reason she's going, though, is to track down Lord Mikage, the former god who dumped this whole responsibility on her and then vanished. What makes this season click is how the relationship between Nanami and Tomoe deepens without losing the comedy that holds everything together. There's genuine tension in the mythology-heavy storylines, but TMS Entertainment keeps the tone warm and a little goofy, which is exactly what you want from a 12-episode shoujo series. The Japanese folklore elements feel more fleshed out here than in season one: you get a better sense of the world these gods inhabit and the politics between them. If you liked Noragami's blend of divine drama and humor, or enjoyed the supernatural romance in The Demon Prince of Momochi House, this fits right in that space. It's also got some of the cozy familiar-and-master dynamic that Oh My Goddess built its whole thing around. Worth your time if the first season worked for you at all.

I like the ending. Even though there is a continuation in the form of an OVA and manga, the series itself concludes well without leaving things hanging. Admittedly, the comedy in this episode isn't as intense as in previous ones, but given that the story focuses on Nanami's childhood, the tone is naturally a bit more mellow.
The pacing in this episode is a bit slow because the storytelling is somewhat mellow. Finally, Tomoe gets to learn what Nanami's childhood was like. I really like this part of the story because it reveals what shaped Nanami into the person she is today.
The story of the *tengu* and Mount Kurama has finally concluded. For some reason, after Kurama successfully retrieved his father's spirit, the pacing dipped a bit, which made me lose interest at times. The dialogue had a somewhat mellow tone, adding to the sense of boredom. However, overall, the episode had a strong plot.
What a great episode! Everything felt just right, making it a real pleasure to watch. Unexpectedly, Nanami played a crucial role; her powers have grown so much that she didn't need Tomoe's help to turn the tide at the dojo.
Nanami and Tomoe are so cute and adorable! Unfortunately, Tomoe is still in denial about his true feelings for Nanami. Meanwhile, the mission to meet Kurama's father has finally begun; here, we see Kurama's firm determination as he enters the dojo in a truly elaborate disguise.
The plot is strong and the storytelling is well-crafted, although I still don't quite understand why Suirou refuses to interact directly with Nanami. I did feel that the pacing slowed down a bit during scenes heavy on dialogue, but overall, the episode was enjoyable from start to finish.
This episode is truly entertaining and funny. Although the first half has a mellow tone due to Nanami feeling conflicted, the atmosphere becomes humorous again in the second half, and the story returns to its core narrative. It is interesting to consider that, up to this point, both Nanami and Tomoe have actually been grappling with their own inner turmoil.
It’s sad to see that Nanami’s love for Tomoe remains unrequited. Perhaps someday, Tomoe will be able to open his heart to her. On the other hand, I really like Mikage’s character. He is compassionate and wise, and truly a great mentor to Nanami.
This episode features many exciting action sequences. Furthermore, it seems Tomoe is gradually realizing his true feelings for Nanami. Unfortunately, the battle between the God of War and Tomoe, in his yokai form, was not shown, and the messenger sent by Izanami to pursue Nanami and Kirihito gave up too easily. Nevertheless, the episode boasts a strong storyline overall.
conclusion del conflicto en la montaña kurama.
Such a fantastic anime. I love the dynamic Nanami and her familiars have! I especially appreciate how resilient of a person she is. She constantly works hard, is kind to those around her, and communicates spectacularly. [8.67/10]
I love that the final two episodes focuses on Nanami's past. Something about her seeing her self reliant as a kid to the community around her now tugs at my heart strings.
The underage drinking Nanami does is so funny every time. I still don't like Jiro. He has yet to fully make up his actions and I don't trust him.
The stakes have been raised and the villain has realized that he may be the problem. Honestly, Jiro pisses me off, he seems like the type that feels entitled to a woman.
