EPISODE REVIEWS

There was introduction of different characters. Nothing crazy happened but it is building up for Izumo.

I feel the storytelling in this episode is quite polished, and the pacing is just right. It’s also amusing to see Tomoe forced to step in for Nanami at school. That said, there haven't been any major plot twists yet, but I’m looking forward to seeing how Nanami makes it through this God's meeting.

Episode Context

Following the Divine Assembly invitation established in Episode 1, this second episode transitions Nanami from her familiar shrine setting into the broader world of gods, marking an early but crucial escalation in Season 2's scope. It lays essential groundwork for the Izumo arc that will dominate the first half of the season, introducing the divine politics and new characters Nanami will contend with. The familiar dynamics tested here, particularly the Tomoe-Mizuki tension, will carry forward as recurring threads throughout the season's events.
