📖 SYNOPSIS
Chizuru Yukimura, a young woman in 1864 Japan, embarks on a journey to Kyoto to find her missing father, Koudou, a doctor with mysterious connections. Disguising herself as a man, she inadvertently witnesses a bloody battle between the Shinsengumi and otherworldly creatures, and is subsequently captured by the group. After revealing her father's name, Chizuru earns the Shinsengumi's protection, as they too have been searching for him. As she stays with the group, she learns more about their struggles against supernatural forces and the rising political tensions in Kyoto during a time of great turmoil. Soon, Chizuru finds herself entangled in the conflict between the Shinsengumi and their enemies, uncovering deep secrets about her father’s involvement with the group. Her journey becomes a dangerous one, where the line between friend and foe blurs, and survival depends on her ability to navigate these dark revelations.
