📖 SYNOPSIS
"Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom - Record of the Jade Blood" picks up after the events of the original series. The story unfolds in the aftermath of the Edo Era's end, as the Meiji Era begins. However, the transition is far from peaceful. Bitter conflict persists between the soldiers of the new government and the former retainers of the Tokugawa shogunate. The surviving members of the Shinsengumi, having suffered defeat at Tobafushimi, find themselves back in Edo, facing an uncertain future in a rapidly changing world. The series explores themes of loyalty, honor, and survival amidst the chaos of a nation in transition.
