Claymore

I have mixed feeling about this ending, as I kind of predicted they'll use the scene with Jean at the very end. The scene itself was done well, but the overall ending felt a bit unsatisfying and rushed, as if there's more to the story. Overall the anime itself is okay.

I feel like because of the anime separating itself from the source, it can be whatever the director wanted, which made the animation clearer even when the writing is a bit off. I kind of like the episode, even when it feels more like a traditional shonen with the power up trope.

Oh no, I am so sorry for Raki, someone who had developed enough to stood up against Ophelia in the episodes prior to this, is now reduced to Raki in this episode. That was the bad change, but I'm okay with the change they make for Priscilla as it make sense anime-wise.

As someone who read the manga too, this is the time where I had to put this down and say they derailed it. It doesn't mean it's bad per se, but the anime is definitely weaker than its manga counterpart, especially this part where I'm waiting for something to happen, but it didn't

We finally entered the last leg of the anime, and to be honest I don't know how they will finish this, especially with so much bigger plot that was set up prior. As much as I like Clare's side of the story, I feel like Raki's side is a bit weaker as I anticipated a bigger impact.

This episode got me on a rollercoaster ride. Firstly, I like how the teams are written to actually feels like a team, working together. Then the reveal of a more powerful enemy had me on the edge, but not as much as what Raki had found. This is such a chaotic episode.

The calm before the storm, as the author slowly builds tension. I don't mind the slower pacing, especially for what's about to come, but I do hope this pays out, especially now that we cares about more of the claymores in the team. That ending tho, I gasped and almost choked.

An episode filled with tense fight. We see how the claymores fight hard against the awakened beings which was awesome. Proprs to Madhouse for doing this episode well enough to capture the desperation and the strength of the characters. That plot twist at the end is something else

Even from the title of this episode, we can already imagine what would happen in this episode, especially with the talk between the claymores. But it is a bit reassuring having familiar face back in the group, and strong allies as well. But the foreboding feeling lingers still.

Even before the opening rolled, this episode already pushed us to the depth as we followed Clare from the previous episode. I do wonder how Clare did it, but thankfully she does, because she brought a great help here. There's also a scene at the end, a snippet of what's to come.

This episode really did tell us how Claire match up against stronger yoma. And that surprise back up was something that was definitely needed, especially in a situation as dire as this one. I also like how we're building another plot in the background. Can't wait for next episode

This episode feels like a build up episode, where we see Claire went back on her journey and now is searching for Raki since the two seperated episodes ago. I do like how it feels almost like a different anime at the beginning, but it turned on its head moments before the ending

We see Clare finally went back to her journey and once again has to fight against the enemy that was left unfinished episodes ago. I really do like the closing of this battle as we found that at the very least a yoma can die in peace. But Clare's body seemed like a future problem

Once again, I really do feel bad for Clare, having to fight tooth and nail in this episode. But a welcomed surprise that came definitely needs an applause as we see a familiar face. I do hope this is a good sign for Clare, especially with that happened at the end of the episode.

We just got warned an episode ago, and now we meet the claymore herself. I do like how clear where Ophelia stand in this series, as she toyed with Clare and Raki. I like the ending too even if it's a bit abrupt. Hopefully we'll see a great confrontation in the next episode!

This episode showed us the aftermath of the fight from last episode. We got lore drop as Miria explained her deduction about this whole mission, especially after what the awakened being had said in prior episode. I do like the foreshadowing of what's to come as we wait for more.

If there's something I appreciate in this anime is that they can make the situation tense, as the stakes seemed dire and real. And we get exactly that in thi episode where the group fought the awakened being. We also got a lore about the claymore once more, which is appreciated.

I have to get this out of my chest, but Clare is my baby that I want to protect so bad. She's been through so much, and now she's being bullied by her peers, and at the end of the episode, it seemed that she's also very unlucky. This episode also provide more questions too.

This was such a great episode, as we continue the fights between Teresa and the other top dog claymores. We got explanation over the yoma power of claymores, expanding on the lore, but also real consequence too. This episode is brutal, I never thought it'll end like that at all.

We finally got to see other high ranking claymores in this episode, continuing from previous episode where they're called to hunt Teresa down. This one felt chaotic as wee get to see the claymores fight. For an anime of its time, this counts as a well animated battle episode.
