Clare got a new job, so this episode introduce us to a new town. The lore around this town is great as we slowly get to know its lore and rules. The subtlety of Clare's writing is fun to watch, especially when Raki is on screen with her. The cliffhanger at the end made it tense.

this episode's got tension and some solid fights and honestly this is what exactly what I wanted. And it Builds the world without being boring about it. No skip, you gotta watch this one.

This episode is great because it changes the power dynamic. By stripping Clare of her strength, the show forces her to rely on her instincts and intelligence. It also sets up a fascinating conflict between the "holy" humans and the "monstrous" savior.
