We finally got to see other high ranking claymores in this episode, continuing from previous episode where they're called to hunt Teresa down. This one felt chaotic as wee get to see the claymores fight. For an anime of its time, this counts as a well animated battle episode.

the Claymore org sent backup just to behead Teresa and things got wild hahahahh out of nowhere someone shows up who can actually match her and i wasnt ready for that. great fight scene, this is must watch EP you will enjoy it.

This episode is a fan favorite because it expands the "power system" of the show. Seeing the specific techniques and unique combat styles of the elite warriors makes the world feel much larger. It’s the ultimate "boss fight" scenario, where the protagonist is actually the one.
