I have mixed feeling about this ending, as I kind of predicted they'll use the scene with Jean at the very end. The scene itself was done well, but the overall ending felt a bit unsatisfying and rushed, as if there's more to the story. Overall the anime itself is okay.

okay so the ending still emotional tho and wraps up a bit of fighting scene here but its the way anime works well its not perfect ending i know you left hanging after watching it hahahahah me too

This finale is appealing because it provides emotional closure. While it deviates from the manga to provide a self-contained ending for the TV series, it succeeds in fulfilling the character arcs of Clare and Raki. It leaves the viewer with a sense of "the journey continues,".
