Claymore Episode 1: Great Sword

Didn't expect the first episode to hit that hard the action feels raw and intense. If you watched Bleach, you already know the vibe, it's that same sword swinging. Honestly don't skip on this one, you're gonna like it for sure.

Seeing Madhouse was the studio that produced this anime, I already had hopes, and I wasn't let down. The fights were fluid and fun, and the desaturated color made the blood look more prominent. We can already see Clare's character from one episode, hoping to see more from her!

What makes this episode so appealing is how it subverts the typical "hero" trope. Clare isn't a knight in shining armor; she is a weapon with a ticking clock. If you enjoy stories about complex anti-heroes, tragic backstories, and intense supernatural combat.
