Anime that's the precursor to Konosuba. A brown haired main protagonist hailing from the far east, that has certain standards when it comes to ladies, so he's womanizer but he's not after every woman he sees, yeah he's basically Kazuma. While his Doll is like Aqua, but useful.

To make it clear, I have noticed that there is never an exchange of blows, it's just one attack landing or being blocked in a flashy way. All the fights happen faster than the human eye can follow, perfectly convenient for the animator if I do say so myself. They say loose lips sink ships, lets see how the Butler gets himself killed. I like how The Evening Party isn't even a thing anymore. I'd probably call the thing off if someone was trying to assassinate me since they are putting everyone's lives ate risk oh weill that's just me.

The finale delivers an intense payoff as Raishin pushes his body past its limits to save Shoko. The emotional weight peaks when Yaya unleashes her true power, perfectly blending high stakes puppet combat with genuine heart. It is a deeply satisfying wrap up

Episode 11 kicks into high gear as Raishin pushes through immense physical exhaustion to face his brutal reality. The sheer desperation in Yaya and Cherubim during their fierce clashes really keeps you on edge. Watching the Automaton bond be tested so heavily makes this a standout chapter

Episode 2 really steps up the pace as Raishin faces intense pressure following his rough start at the academy. I loved watching Yaya's fierce jealousy flare up when Charlotte enters the picture, creating a brilliant mix of tactical tension and comedy

episode 1 sets up an amazing premise when Raishin arrives in Liverpool with Yaya. The train battle scene is absolutely stunning and sets a high bar for the rest of the show. I love how their dynamic feels immediately natural and genuinely entertaining.

Is this worth it to watch? Here are my points to consider: This season primarily focuses on the characters surrounding the protagonist, while also slowly revealing more details about his goals, past, character and his connection with Yaya (also note that Yaya's backstory or her creator wasn't covered in this season). There aren't any interludes in between the end and start of a new arc. I did some research to understand what Raishin was doing when using his magic on Yaya since it wasn't even explained in any of the episode what he was doing. As for the protagonist's story, it feels like a combination of various familiar shounen elements mixed with the usual harem themes The animation started out pretty strong only to fall flat in the face nearing the final episode. The anime didn't have that exaggerated jiggle physics and overly ridiculous fan-service scenes (except for one episode), it's just the typical standards of an ecchi anime with exposure limited to nudity such as visible breasts and nipples if you are watching the Blu-ray version.

⚠️ BIG WARNING: There are strobing lights in this episode that can trigger seizure in individuals with photosensitive epilepsy. ⚠️ The end of the arc was rather disappointing. It left more questions than answers and failed to provide a proper conclusion for the villain while only giving a somewhat acceptable outcome for Charlotte and her sister. The animation quality remains the same as in the previous episode and the art style clearly shows that it was produced in 2013. P.S. After doing some research, I would recommend avoiding the manga adaptation since it is rushed and does not share the same ending as the original source which is the light novel. Based on how the story is written, I might consider reading the LN if I ever run out of things to read which is highly unlikely 😏😉

Even after watching this episode I'm still stumped by how there is almost no new information revealed about the story. It feels like a rehash of details that were already introduced and I still don't understand why the arc is called the Elf Speeder Arc. As for the highly anticipated fight between Raishin and Charlotte, it would have been more satisfying if there were some explanation of what those glowing effects actually do to Yaya (yes, there is still no information about them so just go the link in my review on ep 7 to find learn about them). To be honest, the animation quality also became noticeably weaker. It feels like the studio tried to hide the rough animation by lowering the brightness and using faster sequences but it only made the issues more noticeable.

Oddly enough, even though this arc isn't focused on Raishin some information about him is still revealed in this episode. More details about the main villain of this arc and his motives are also uncovered. Some characters use phrases that seem to be connected to future arcs, which is both intriguing and confusing since it's obviously not going to be covered in this season. The Evening Party situation is still problematic just like in the previous episode, especially with participants failing to show up without any clear explanation.

This episode marks the beginning of the Elf Speeder Arc. Most of the information revealed is fragmented, seemingly to create a sense of mystery and drama while providing just enough details for viewers to form their own theories. This is the final arc of the season, yet it still feels far from the point where the MC truly works toward his main goal. Instead, this arc primarily focuses on Charlotte and somehow connects back to the very first arc of the anime. The episode ends on a cliffhanger and I'm still unsure whether Raishin made another illogical decision in that scene or if there is more context that has yet to be revealed.

This episode concludes the Sword Angel Arc with Raishin gaining a rival and, as expected, another potential love interest. The animation is still good especially during the fight scenes, although the brightness issue I mentioned back in Ep 1 is still present. The scene at the end which sets up the next arc is very intriguing. It seems that just like in Ep 5, there will be no brief interlude before moving directly into a new storyline.
