episode four really escalates the tension. Raishin faces intense tactical choices during his duel, and Yaya shows incredible loyalty while fighting under pressure. The strategic maneuvering around the discipline committee adds a great layer of suspense

This episode marks the conclusion of the Cannibal Candy Arc. Charlotte's backstory and motivations are finally revealed giving more context to her character and goals. The combination of CGI and 2D animation during the fight scenes wasn't bad although there were a few minor inconsistencies in the art. In my opinion, these issues are only noticeable if you're paying close attention to the scenes. What did bother me, however, was Raishin's lack of logic during the fight. His actions felt incredibly dumb which came across as either poor decision-making or simply bad writing. The punishment given to the mastermind wasn't particularly satisfying and if the next episode fails to show the consequences of their actions, I'll be greatly disappointed.

The writing hardly made sense, and even the big brain move Raishin pulled off seemed hollow. The fight kept switching between 2D and the gaudy 3D models they used. They even made a note to animate less by hiding the fight scene within the forest. Nice lore behind the gift he gave Magnus though, really sets the tone for the upcoming Evening Party.
