Raishin finds himself in a tight spot during this episode as the stakes inside the academy skyrocket. Lisette adds a brilliant layer of tension to the narrative while Yaya showcases her fierce loyalty in battle. It is a fantastic mix of tactical suspense and great character growth
This episode concludes the Sword Angel Arc with Raishin gaining a rival and, as expected, another potential love interest. The animation is still good especially during the fight scenes, although the brightness issue I mentioned back in Ep 1 is still present. The scene at the end which sets up the next arc is very intriguing. It seems that just like in Ep 5, there will be no brief interlude before moving directly into a new storyline.
It's like the writers are all on crack! What is going on it's all over the place. The tag team showdown against Bronson was pretty awesome even if their plan felt forced. Once again someone misconstrues Raishin and Yaya's relationship, but I will let it slide since Loki only knows them on a strategic fight alongside each other level, and not on a personal level. The ending kept the chaotic nature of this episode going without missing a beat.
