EPISODE REVIEWS

Episode 9 delivers incredible tension as Raishin faces overwhelming odds. Seeing him pushed to his limits while Yaya desperately tries to protect him really highlights their bond. The introduction of Frey's complex situation adds great emotional weight

This episode marks the beginning of the Elf Speeder Arc. Most of the information revealed is fragmented, seemingly to create a sense of mystery and drama while providing just enough details for viewers to form their own theories. This is the final arc of the season, yet it still feels far from the point where the MC truly works toward his main goal. Instead, this arc primarily focuses on Charlotte and somehow connects back to the very first arc of the anime. The episode ends on a cliffhanger and I'm still unsure whether Raishin made another illogical decision in that scene or if there is more context that has yet to be revealed.

I'm feeling sorry for Charlotte, she's been through so much. The plot against Headmaster Rutherford, is well underway and it's going to take everything Raishin has at his disposal to stop it, before it's too late. I can't get enough of the Victorian style, I love the world building, with it, it doesn't make the world feel like it's in a void. There are other countries, traditions, and cultures. It's like ours, but with steam punk nonsense mixed into it!
