This is heaven for SoL lovers! I totally love how this series focuses on a single aspect throughout—eating. It’s also super enjoyable because I learned many things, from how to eat to how to cook different dishes. That said, the story is very cozy and comfy to watch. I just love how chill and polite everyone is, without any annoying characters. Honestly, that’s just the best. Craftsmanship-wise, everything was done very well! Though, the thing I love most here is the visuals. Like, damn, the food looks soooooo freaking good that every episode makes me hungry. Overall, I’d rate this series a 10/10. This is just a perfect SoL anime to chill with. P.S. Don’t watch this anime without some snacks. You’d regret it.

I really love how Suzume was just having fun. She wasn’t even bothered by how badly she was doing, LOL! That was honestly an impressive mindset. That said, this series wrapped up just as I expected. It was cozy and comfy, and the scenes never failed to make me hungry. I totally love the story of this series.

The food is just making me so curious! With how deliciously they eat everything, I really wonder what it tastes like. On another note, I really like Suzume’s huge grin. That smile was probably her best one so far. That said, Suzume and Ricotta are really great friends and I totally love their bond.

It is really fun to see the culture in this episode. On that note, I really like how Japan sells a variety of things through vending machines, unlike where I live, where vending machines only sell snacks or drinks—just very basic things. On another funny note, I can’t help but laugh at Suzume’s outfit. I mean, bro, is the maid headband really necessary? LOL! I also can’t help but laugh at how accurately I predicted that “thing.” I’ve watched so many anime already that I know the dangers of it, LMAO!

This episode has a fever-dream vibe. While it is not exactly like that, the story and direction give off that feeling a little. Aside from that, I really love the wholesomeness of this episode. I also love how considerate Anzu is. That said, I learned some new things again. To be honest, I thought Japan celebrated Halloween as actively as it does Christmas. P.S. Suzume in that costume was insanely cute!

No offense to Suzume, but girl, your humor scale is too low, LMAO! Kidding aside, that sweet potato looks so freaking delicious. It’s a crime to watch this episode while feeling hungry. No, actually, I just ate an hour ago, so I shouldn’t really be hungry yet, but damn! This food just looks so appetizing. On another note, I sometimes eat grapes like Suzume does. The skin tastes bitter, to be fair, but it’s still delicious!

I don’t usually talk about the craftsmanship, but I can’t help but appreciate the fish-eye lens angle. The way it captured the moment was much better than I expected. To nitpick a little, though, it felt a bit off that Suzume didn’t need to change her clothes after getting drenched in the rain.

For real, watching Suzume eat makes me so hungry too! Her reactions and satisfied expression were too good to watch. It’s maddening that I don’t have anything to eat right now! On another note, this episode is probably the most “maid-like” Suzume has been, LOL! I mean, she just eats—not that I hate it, XD.

I really like how much effort they put into the visuals. The details in every close-up were just so beautiful to watch. That said, I can’t help but laugh at Suzume’s face. Her shocked expression was simply too funny, LOL! On a side note, I really like the subtle romance here. It’s not overdone, so it’s pretty cute to follow.

It’s actually amusing how different UK English is. That said, this episode is very comfy and super cute! Even the thugs are so polite and kind, LOL!

Man, it was a mistake to watch this episode while hungry. Good thing I had some peanuts to snack on, LOL! That said, I really loved the details of the beans. They were beautifully drawn! I really wonder what they taste like. The cooking method was simple, but it looked so delicious! On another note, Sora is actually quite sly. This kid is a smooth criminal when it comes to picking up ladies, LOL!

I didn’t expect making tea to come with this much complication. I’m so used to just dipping a tea bag into a cup of hot water, LOL! That said, I kind of miss eating choco mint. I remember having some when I was a child, but I wonder why no one makes that flavor anymore. On a side note, the way the kids watched Suzume was so cute!
