It’s actually amusing how different UK English is. That said, this episode is very comfy and super cute! Even the thugs are so polite and kind, LOL!

Meeting up with her friend and fellow maid Ricotta-chan, Suzume is not only happy but also receives an important tool to help her survive the Japanese summer. But is this meeting fleeting? Meanwhile a mystery in the apartment complex puts Suzume on edge, what could be happening?

That tough looking guy with the swallows nest was the sweetest surprise this episode and a really good moment for Suzume

The Master sending Ricotta with a summer uniform was such a thoughtful detail it really hit me how much he cares about Suzume

The fried chicken scene was so good I could almost taste it just from watching them enjoy that late night snack

I loved hearing Suzume explain why she always wears her uniform it makes perfect sense and shows her strength

There are new character introductions in this episode: another maid who wears a japanese style dress and a delinquent-looking bird enthusiast. I was hoping Ricotta would join Suzume on her culinary adventure in this episode, but she didn’t 🥺. I involuntarily cheered when Suzume used anpan as a stake out food, it is an absolute rule after all 👍. The close up of the Konbini Chicken was MADE IN HEAVEN🤤 and the explanation of the difference between Karaage and Fried Chicken is very informative.

the biscuit, the anpan, the honey lemon, and omg the famichiki... everything looks so incredibly good. and i just realized this might be a little yuri coded and i love that a lot

Watching them eat that crispy fried chicken is ACTUAL TORTURE when you are hungry in the middle of the night! I literally cannot handle how good everything looks

this series excels as a pure, conflict-free narrative, serving as the absolute definition of a light and relaxing watch. the structural inclusion of educational trivia seamlessly adds value to the viewing experience without disrupting the comfortable pacing.
