Another cute and comfy series! That said, the story is very much to my liking. I really enjoy this kind of series that focuses on the little aspects of everyday life. Some people may find it boring, but I personally enjoy it. Learning new things while watching cute moments at the same time is simply enjoyable.

This series is so comforting to watch. The way Suzume enjoys different foods always makes me crave them too. I'm also really curious about the Master character and can't wait to learn more about them.

The little birdie's fun facts are a nice touch , they're both informative and entertaining in a unique way. I think I would've enjoyed the series even more if Suzume cooked the dishes herself, since it would've been fun to learn a few recipes along the way.

oh my God this is literally the definition of a cozy and comfort series!! The premise of having a maid run around Japan and finding new food is absolutely such a simple yet genius move✨ The pacing does tend to go quite slow since they really elaborate on just a single food HAHA, BUT if you're looking for that homey feel, especially if you're a foodie, then this is your calling!!

El anime es tierno, cursi y con comida rica que da esa sensación de acogedor, pero el argumento del porqué se queda en Japón está un poco raro...

Al ver este anime, realmente siento hambre y ganas de comer todo lo que aparece en los capítulos 😂. Me gusta la información gastronómica y la historia de los platillos, creo que mas allá de la entretenida historia de Suzume, el contenido es muy enriquecedor culturalmente.

everytime she shows food on screen i'd go like "should i get that for lunch?" AND GUESS WHO GOT THOSE ALL FOR LUNCH LMAOOOO

Every dish gets its moment! Taiyaki, takoyaki, dango, onigiri… I could practically taste them through the screen. This episode makes me want to go on a snack run immediately. It’s a foodie heaven in 23 minutes XD

Me watching Suzume eat onigiri like it’s some sort of life-changing revelation: same energy 😆 Also, that moment she stares at baumkuchen like she’s seeing a cake deity? Iconic. 10/10 for pure snack vibes.

Oh my gosh, this episode is literally comfort food in anime form 😭 Suzume trying taiyaki for the first time? Precious. The way she reacts to every bite is just chef’s kiss. I already want the whole season to feel like a warm snack break.

A short vacation trip to Japan suddenly becomes a long staying. Tachibana Suzume after arriving to her family’s home country, learns that she will have to stay for a whole year and with that starts her cozy daily life of trying the many delicious foods that Japan has to offer.

An education food tour of Japan. The art is very detailed and the animation is good. It's nice that there is a small trivia or description for the featured food. I wish I could find a Taiyaki that has a chock full of filling 😏 since the ones that I have eaten so far have a high bread to filling ratio 😩.

cozy and heartwarming. The gentle pacing, comforting food moments, and sweet character intro make it an easy, feel-good watch. Simple plot, but charming enough to keep you curious for more.

Oba-sama's very specific takoyaki order cracked me up and the cooking process was so satisfying to watch

The maid uniform is a bit much for everyday wear but Suzume's excitement over something as simple as taiyaki is infectious

I loved seeing the taiyaki getting made and learning about the different types like farmed and natural
