The Food Diary of Miss Maid Episode 9: Miso Soup / Ginkgo / Halloween

This episode has a fever-dream vibe. While it is not exactly like that, the story and direction give off that feeling a little. Aside from that, I really love the wholesomeness of this episode. I also love how considerate Anzu is. That said, I learned some new things again. To be honest, I thought Japan celebrated Halloween as actively as it does Christmas. P.S. Suzume in that costume was insanely cute!

This might be the episode where the cuteness of Suzume is amped up way too high 😭. The featured food in this episode matches the season and I have no complaints with the selection 👍. The studio made a miso soup look so delicious that I'm doubting if it's really a miso soup. As expected a maid uniform plus cat ears is a dangerous combination, I also would like to see Ricotta wearing cat ears 🥹

this was just such a cute and incredibly relatable episode. watching her eat those meals just made me crave a huge bowl of miso soup so badly. the food art in this series is consistently so good and always makes me feel so hungry by the end.

the series excels by functioning as an educational slice-of-life narrative. integrating practical culinary knowledge directly into the daily routine of the protagonist allows the audience to learn new techniques without the show ever feeling overly preachy or instructional.

Its actually so nice to sit down and learn totally new things from this show every single day. Like the more you know right. really love how they just casually drop all these random facts on us while making the food look so ridiculously good at the same time.
