The opening scene of this penultimate ep is NOT HOLDING BACK. Looks like things are going according to Professor Yoneda’s keikaku! (T/N: Keikaku means plan) Will Mirai and the crew be able to turn things around? The pacing is all over the place, but the twists and turns in this finale setup will surprise you!!

None of the candidates are sunshine and rainbows, but man, Professor Yoneda’s cynical and nihilistic views are so horribly DARK. 😨 This crazed scientist is making me dizzy from all his yapping lmao 😵 That said, Mirai has grown from where we started. He’s become a such better protag!

The Final Arrow! This finale is so strangely anticlimactic...? That said, I love the ethereal imagery in heaven, and seeing the characters lead normal lives is nice. The philosophical talks and lore drops are interesting too, but they leave a lot of confusing feelings. The storytelling is a mess... Artistically provocative, but still a mess LOL.

Aw jeez, this god selection thing is becoming a crazy public spectacle 🥴 There’s calm-before-the-storm energy in this ep, with sappy teenage love confessions juxtaposed against the SERIOUS looming fate of the world in the hands of the candidates. Talk-no-jutsu isn’t gonna work on Yoneda here 😭 It’s a battle between Mirai and Yoneda’s resolve!

Oh no, society is devolving with all the chaos 😭 I like the surprise connection between Hoshi and Yoneda! It was an interesting way to lead into showing more of Yoneda’s true nature. What a bizarre yet incredible character. He’s a unique kind of mad scientist!! Mostly yet another philosophical ep without much action.

Professor Yoneda is a GAME-CHANGER. He’s a terrifying genius yet also a walking contradiction?! 😱 The guy’s just built different from the other candidates, playing 4D chess under everyone’s noses LOL. The sudden twist at the end got me wide-eyed, though! 😲

Things are getting really interesting! The god candidate coalition is getting bigger~ There’s an ideological clash happening among them though, since there’s so many of them now 😅 They’ve finally come to a decision though! All the remaining candidates are here for us to see: Stakes are high, and it’s now or never.

The god candidate in this ep has an unusual way of using the arrows 😲 I’m absolutely fascinated with Nakaumi, WOW. He’s so edgy LOL. I like that this ep tackles the different views about death, life, suicide, and desire. Really makes you think. Mirai and the crew are cooking up a real good plan here too~

The chaos is beyond just the god candidates now 😱 The social effects after Susumu’s news reveal are so realistic LOL!! Hoshi and Yumiki are interesting: It’s good Saki and Mirai have adults to lean on in this 2nd half of the anime. Though unlike Nanato, their intentions aren’t so clear… 🤔

We’re halfway there!! This is a masterclass in PLOT TWISTS. The battle from the last ep was a pyrrhic victory for our dear main team ☹ It’s only gonna get harder from here with one man down and new unpredictable candidates around the corner… The sweet moments between Mirai and Saki make it a little less gloomy though 🥺

OMG, that battle was so unbelievably INTENSE! And Nanato is the GOAT!! The gory and tragic imagery was so breathtakingly beautiful. I’m SHOCKED at the turn of events in this midpoint ep. The farewells are UNEXPECTED?! I’m left wondering now: Who’s the REAL final boss of this story?

White versus Red! This is gonna be an insane battle of wits and skill~ Kanade’s backstory is jaw-droppingly CREEPY and CRAZY. Finally, we get the full context behind his siscon vibes LMAO!!

Mirai just made a BIG BRAIN move!! He’s not perfect, but he's trying 😭 People who think he’s a bad MC just don’t get it. This depressed kid is struggling in a life-or-death situation; his actions are realistic imo. Hajime is the MVP though. Strange dude, but so tragic…

The opener is so dumb, it loops back into amazing 😂 I like the pact between our main team! It also serves as a clever strategic plan~ Metropoliman’s team is a bunch of crazed weirdos, what the hell LMAO. How are Mirai and the crew gonna deal with this mess?!

Yay, there’s character development on Mirai’s side~ His conviction’s a bit stronger now 😭 This episode has huge Schrodinger’s Cat energy. The psychological battle is crazy fascinating!! The twist with Revel and Saki coming in CLUTCH is so satisfying~!! 🪽 The ending is a bit ridiculous though 🤣

Bruh, what the heckle. The new guy lowk looks like a bargain bin JoJo character 😅 It’s kinda hard to take the melodrama seriously here, even for me, jeez. Kanade’s RUTHLESS energy is hard carrying this episode though. That cliffhanger’s got me wondering what’s gonna happen next!

The vibes are odd between Saki and Mirai 🤔 They’re sweet, but their relationship is complicated 😔 I get how people may find their teenage drama annoying, but I find it quite charmingly cheesy LMAO. This is a great breather after the intense action from the last ep. Things are looking up! Or are they…?

Mirai is such a sentimental soul 😭 Metropoliman is his exact opposite, but they both have their own interesting beliefs and convictions. Anyhow, this ep has an exciting, tense battle of wits! After all that frustrating indecision, Mirai finally grows a spine and we get some actual action!! This ep is a BLAST ~

Girl A is so YABAI. 😮 It’s not too surprising for a “I can fix her” genki girl character to be in this anime considering the creators' tastes LOL. I’m enjoying the strategic approach of the protag’s coalition! Nanato is such a cool guy. Things are cooking!

A brutally OP villain versus such a gentle, indecisive protag… it’s heartwarming, but for this genre, it’s a recipe for disaster 😱 But the sudden wild card of a candidate Nanato mixes up the dynamics and improves the mood!! Kanade is also a compelling, enigmatic character. Things are getting interesting!
