At first, I was slightly dissappointed on how quick Mirai clutched on Saki despite his reluctance before but I realize it shows just how unreasonable and god-like power the candidates have to induce such an extreme change in attitude. Stays faithful to the plot 6.5/10.

Episode Context

Following Episode 2's introduction of rival God candidates and the threat they pose, Episode 3 pivots inward to develop Mirai's personal relationships, particularly with Saki, before the competition escalates further. Sitting early in a 24-episode run, this episode functions as a crucial bridge between the premise-establishing opening and the larger candidate battles ahead. The character dynamics and trust issues seeded here will shape alliances and vulnerabilities as the supernatural contest intensifies.
