The backstory of the characters in this ep are entertaining! Makes me wonder what the other candidates’ reasons to die were. Holy moly, Metropoliman is a MASTER OF MANIPULATION. This guy is NOT playing around at all. I’m on the edge of my seat with the cliffhanger!!

It's only episode 4 and we're already got such a heavy-weight writing. Metropoliman is such a master-class in villain writing, you can feel his ambition and the willingness to do anything for his goals. Mirai is going to have a hard time dealing with him.

Baru mulai tapi udah plot twist aja nih. Seru juga nonton fightnya, apalagi strategi Metropoliman yang pinter banget, tapi gak nyangka dia bisa sekejam itu ternyata. Bener-bener gak tega nontonnya huhuhu.

Episode Context

Coming off Episode 3's focus on deepening Mirai and Saki's bond, Episode 4 pivots sharply into the show's central survival conflict by gathering the God candidates for their first major confrontation. This is an early-season inflection point, only four episodes into a 24-episode run, that establishes Metropoliman as the primary antagonist and reframes the competition's stakes. It directly sets the stage for Episode 5, 'Death Sentence,' signaling that the series is done with introductions and ready to escalate.
