Synopsis
After years of waiting, the Survey Corps' most battle-hardened soldiers are finally making their move to retake Wall Maria, and everything about this 10-episode TV series feels like it was built for this moment. Eren, Mikasa, Armin, and Commander Erwin lead the charge back to Shiganshina District, the place where it all started, to plug the wall and reach the basement that's supposedly hiding the truth about the Titans. But when they arrive, the district is empty. No Titans anywhere. And that silence is way more unsettling than any battle would be. Armin picks up on it immediately, and from there, the tension just doesn't let go. Wit Studio put everything into this one. The animation during the combat sequences is genuinely some of the best you'll see in anime, and the Sawano soundtrack hits in ways that are almost unfair. But what makes this stretch of Attack on Titan land so hard is the character work. Decisions have real weight here. People you care about are put in impossible situations, and the show doesn't flinch. It's dark, emotional, and action-packed in equal measure, with gore and military strategy woven into every episode. If you liked the moral complexity of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood or the existential dread of Neon Genesis Evangelion, this is that energy cranked up to its peak. And if Claymore's bleak survival tone ever clicked with you, this will too. Ten episodes, no filler, all payoff.

This episode truly shows the nature of Levi Ackerman, I really love that despite him going through all the suffering from Kenny, he still consider him as a mentor/father figure that thought him how to survive.
Knowing the truth behind Marco's death was sad and unbelievably frustrating at the same time. And the colossal coming to the party with a big bang was insane.
The brutality was off the chart ! Everyone is correct on their own term ! The visual representation was awesome mostly the titan emergence in the middle of the fort

The tension here is intense. Everyone feels desperate, and you can see it in their eyes. Levi’s calm precision contrasts with the chaos, while Eren and the others feel the weight of every decision. The pacing is intense and relentless.
It’s intense to look back at where they grew up and how they’ll try to take it back. It’s so good to see Armin using his intelligence again it makes the episode even more satisfying.

BEST SPEECH IN ANIME HISTORY. BEST PIECE OF FICTION EVER.
The action is insane, the sacrifices are devastating and the emotional weight of the battle is crushing. The Survey Corps won the battle, but at what cost, Erwin is down Armin is probably dead. The Beast Titan got away, the victory feels hollow and the episode ends with the surviving Scouts looking at Armin's body. Nice episode to watch.

The start of the episode has the perfect recap of what has happened so far. Attack on Titan is an anime that is so easily engaging. The soundtrack, plot, and voice line deliveries are obviously excellently done. Watching Eren doubt himself even after all he has done for humanity really does give him that character depth.

RETURN TO SHIGANSHINA BABY!!! ALL TIME FAVOURITE ARC OF THE SHOW AND I THINK MOST WOULD AGREE Where to even begin? We return to the place it all began back in season 1. Super emotional to be back here. Then we of course get the big showdown between our scouts and beast/armoured/colossal and our first intro to cart. Epic showdown, every episode was intense as hell. First we lose Hange and Moblit, then she is revealed to be alive just as Armin dies and on the other side of the wall we lose Erwin too while Levi is trying to take out the beast. Then everything with deciding who to save. Phenomenal, generational run of episodes, especially Perfect Game, Hero and Midnight Sun. I was a blubbering mess after all of that. Especially Armin. And to end it with the basement and our first introduction to Marley and Liberio. Insane storytelling and story writing. Isayama is truly the goat. The score, action, dialogue, emotions, everything is done so well once more. 10/10.

Most body chilling moments where Zeke try to scream, Colt beg not to scream, Zeke also want to protect Eren. Also brought back mindless titans, really gives nostalgia of season 1 titans. Eren head rolling is the most shocking. Definitely watch this if you like drama
Very intense battle, showing both sides desperate of securing win.
