Oh no, society is devolving with all the chaos 😭 I like the surprise connection between Hoshi and Yoneda! It was an interesting way to lead into showing more of Yoneda’s true nature. What a bizarre yet incredible character. He’s a unique kind of mad scientist!! Mostly yet another philosophical ep without much action.

Makin seru aja semua teori-teori dari Yoneda, tapi bikin makin pusing juga wkwk. Frustrasi banget ngelihat Mirai masih aja naif. Tapi beneran bikin penasaran sama semua kebenaran ini!

It's a Gaku-centric episode where we get some revelation on his past and a peek into his mindset to understand why and how he reached into his current belief and conclusion regarding God's existence. Superb character writing.

Episode Context

Coming off 'The Future of Humanity,' which dealt with external dangers threatening the candidates, episode 20 pivots sharply inward, making the ideological rift between Mirai and Yoneda the central conflict. This factional split is a critical turning point in the final quarter of the series, transforming what was a shared survival scenario into an internal power struggle. The division established here feeds directly into 'The Time for Talk,' where the consequences of these opposing camps will begin to collide.
