[Oshi No Ko]
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Gorou is a rural gynecologist with one guilty pleasure: he's a devoted fan of teenage pop idol Ai Hoshino. When fate puts him in charge of secretly delivering Ai's twins, things take a sharp turn: Gorou is murdered by a stalker, only to wake up reincarnated as one of Ai's newborn children, Aquamarine, with all his adult memories intact. His twin sister Ruby, it turns out, has her own past life and connection to his previous one. That's the setup, and it all unfolds in a jaw-dropping first episode that runs feature-length at 90 minutes. From there, Oshi no Ko peels back the glossy surface of Japan's entertainment industry: idol culture, reality TV, social media pile-ons, the machinery that chews people up behind the scenes. Doga Kobo's animation nails the contrast between the sparkle of stage performances and the quiet ugliness lurking underneath. The tone shifts between genuine warmth and something much colder without warning, and that tension is what makes it stick with you. If you liked the psychological unraveling of fame in Perfect Blue, or the way Re:Zero uses reincarnation as more than just a gimmick, this hits similar nerves but from a completely different angle. There's also a melancholy running through it that fans of Your Lie in April will recognize. It's an 11-episode TV series adapted from a seinen manga, and that first episode alone is worth your evening.

Tellement triste quand aï meurt a la fin de l'épisode et trop mignon quand il font la dance au début les bébé mais moi j'aurais tellement voulu avoir les mêmes yeux qu'aqua
If you were to ask me what would be the most impactful first episode of an anime, it would be the very first episode of "Oshi no Ko." It does play with a bit of the supernatural, with the reincarnation of a doctor and his former patient as the twins to their favorite idol, Ai Hoshino, the atmosphere can still get emotional as you see Ai, as a teen mother and active idol, try to remain positive and upbeat through it all. This episode also heavily focuses on the dynamics of the Japanese entertainment industry, and you see Ai, being a teen idol first and foremost, also pursue acting and modeling, which comes with the job in real life as well. Eventually, you also see how Aqua, her son (and the reincarnation of her former physician), also enters the industry as a child actor, and how in turn, how competitive it can be through Kana, who wants to be a successful actress herself with how seriously she takes it. You defenitely see Ai and her children getting quality support from her management as they pursue in making her a star. Unfortunately, tragedy strikes as Ai is murdered by an obbsessive fan. Aqua then deduces the only person who could've known where they live and about the birth of him and his twin sister is his father. Assuming his birth father might also be in the entertainment industy, he decides to become an actor himself in search for him and have his revenge. I say if you're looking for something that has its ups and downs, the first episode of "Oshi no Ko" certainly doesn't pull its punches about it. If you want humor and tragedy, then you're going to get it. If you want some music that will pump you up, then get your glowsticks ready like an idol otaku!
Good...
The first episode of this anime was truly shocking and impressive. Ai Hoshino, the main character who appears cheerful and cute, actually harbors a lot of sadness within her. When she expressed, "lies are a form of love,"
Yes. I love yoasobi and Queen Bee. I do simp on Ruby Hoshino btw
Di episode 1 saya di bikin nangis karena di durasi 1jam 11menit 45detik karena hoshino ai harus terbunuh
Peak
absolute idol
Love it😍😍😍
I loved this anime who just recommended my son🥰🥰🥰
Didn't expect anything going into this series, and I'm shocked to see what this series actually showed! Oshi no Ko is something that I never expected for its genre and story to have a full twist at the beginning!
You slowly start to learn more about Ai and her character grows on you, how she is uncertain about what love truly means even though she is in an emotionally invested profession as an Idol. Her death scene was so unexpected where you can see the color in her eyes deteriorate as her life is fading away which is such a powerful depiction of death as it makes you emotionally invest in her as a character. In the end , she truly knew what love was as a mother rather than an idol.
Seeing the Final Moments in the adapted anime is so brutal, even though I prepared myself for what's about to come. Seeing the final graphic moment of Ai as her life slowly passed away is heart wrenching and hard to watch, making me take a breather to finish the first episode.
I used to think that Aqua-Aka was the real ship, but watching this episode made me shift my side on the boat a bit. I love the B-Komachi songs, the dancing animation is flawless. I also love how they perfectly sat up the field for the 2nd season! I'm looking forward to it <3 9/10
Not gonna lie, I really disliked Kana before. But watching this episode really made me realize how complex and multi-dimensional she is. It also makes me happy seeing the bond between the new B-Komachi members, teenage friendship sure is fun. 9/10
The unexpected OST from this episode sounds like a Vocaloid song, I loved it. Although I'm more of an Akane-stan, this episode humanizes Kana and makes me like her a bit more. Though to be honest, nothing much happened, merely focusing more on building the anime's lore. 8/10
This episode was great, though not as good as the previous two episodes. I love the trajectory of the pacing, and how the plot is moving naturally without being too fast or lagging. It truly is picking on our shipping fuel, and it's effectively done because I have my pairing 9/10
I literally had goosebumps on the last scene. This episode was PEAK Oshi no Ko, and that was the best anime scene of all time. I love how Aqua downplays his heroism, but he's a softie underneath all the trauma. Aqua best boi, Akane best girl!!!
Viewer's discretion is advised while watching this episode. It's a bit heavy to watch since it talks about cyber bulling and attempted self-harm. It was heart wrenching to watch, but it's also a sad reflection of reality in today's society. Makes one think about themselves 10/10
This episode was so good, Oshi no Ko can handle world building, plot progression, and comedy at all at the same time with such good transition it's insane! This is probably their most hilarious episode yet, I found myself literally LOL-ing so many times in this episode. 10/10
