This episode was great, though not as good as the previous two episodes. I love the trajectory of the pacing, and how the plot is moving naturally without being too fast or lagging. It truly is picking on our shipping fuel, and it's effectively done because I have my pairing 9/10

A much needed wholesome episode after all the drama. Recruiting MEM-cho to the new B-Komachi is such a win. She brings such a fun energy to the group. It feels like the team is finally coming together, and I’m so ready to see them perform for real.

Another stepping stone for Aqua's plan. The character rivalry for Aqua is really cute and the relationship feels is really developing though one-sided.

The way Aqua plays his cards with those calculated moves shows just how deep this industry expose goes. Such a stylish direction for this anime.

This episode is groundbreaking, showcasing Akane’s transformation, Aqua's internal struggles, and the evolving rivalry (and friendship) among the cast members.

The detail here is crazy. It makes you rethink what’s real and what’s just performance. Impressive and a little unsettling in the best way.

Episode 8 was emotional and gripping — the first-time experiences of the characters really hit hard and showed their vulnerability.
The standout moment was when Ruby steps into a new challenge, and the mix of nerves and excitement made me really empathize with her.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting past the midpoint at episode 8 of 11, 'First Time' follows the dramatic tension of 'Buzz' and Akane's persona shift, using that momentum to pivot inward for deep character excavation rather than escalation. This episode serves as the emotional hinge of the reality show arc, processing the fallout of Akane's transformation while laying critical groundwork for the final stretch and the formation of B Komachi in the episodes ahead.
