The big mystery is finally out in the open! Getting to the true history of the Universal Century box feels like a massive milestone, but Frontal crashing the party right at the finish line sets up the ultimate endgame.

Seriously, I cannot praise this soundtrack enough, it's just so damn good! The beginning of the episode is incredible because they weave in this distinct, haunting Japanese feudal music with traditional instrumentation that perfectly matches the tragedy unfolding on screen. The writing here is peak, top-tier Gundam. Watching the tragic fallout of the clash and seeing the physical, measuring-gauge-breaking psycho-waves explode out of pure grief is a total emotional gut-punch. Absolute CINEMA.

I love the art style of the opening animation and the soundtrack is just unbelievable! The transition into the theme song here was completely seamless! A special, high-stakes episode like this absolutely deserves its own unique opening sequence, and honestly, this exact level of production hype is the reason why we watch Gundam in the first place. The race to the final destination starts with an incredible faceoff, and knowing a literal space laser is getting powered up in the background makes the pacing feel absolutely electric! Don't skip.

The fragile alliance completely shatters into absolute chaos here! Watching Otto drop the diplomacy act and turn on the Sleeves while Marida stands her ground against Zinnerman's deep hatred is phenomenal writing. Peak character writing!

A very talky episode but the ideological debate makes it worth it. Hearing Frontal's actual cold, economic plan for the colonies makes you realize why the Box is such a terrifyingly high-stakes chess piece. GoT vibes in this episode.

That mysterious glowing light pull-start for the ship is incredible, but the real highlight is the massive twist at the end. Getting forced into a joint front with your worst enemy is an amazing setup!

The sky rescue scene is absolutely wild and easily one of the coolest things Banagher has pulled off! Plus, the emotional confrontation for Marida to pull herself together hits really hard.

The tension builds up nicely here as everyone scrambles to get a piece of Banagher. Bright Noa stepping up as the ultimate mentor figure and giving him a solid pep talk is exactly what makes classic Gundam great!

The absolute rage and grief driving this battle makes every single mechanical clash feel heavy as hell! It leaves you stunned and ends on an ominous, top-tier cliffhanger. 10/10 arc finale.
