The rescue mission scale is massive, but the highlight is the mid-fight psychic memory trip! Seeing those dark, lingering echoes from past wars makes the action hit way harder on this one.
This episode reveals what is NT-D system and it also reveals the real identity of Marida. The battle was definitely awesome and I like the way that the soundtrack during the fight was different which indicates that something was definitely wrong with the Unicorn. P.S. If you want to know more about the backstory of Marida then go read the novel but be warned it's a rage inducing read.
A really emotional moment for Banagher and Marida as their consciousness accidentally connected through the minovsky realm, there's a slight callback to the original Zeta series too for the long time fans. Amazing visual as usual, but pacing do feel a little bit all over the place as so many characters trying to do their own thing.
