A bit slower since it sets up the factions and politics, but the vibe is great! Banagher standing up for Audrey purely on instinct is a cool dynamic, and the mansion scenes look great. Def keep watching.
If you are still being bull headed and insisted on watching without going through the previous UC titles then this episode will surely change your mind. There's quite a lot of things that were mentioned here that connects with the previous titles like Char and Deikun. There are small hints and foreshadowing in this episode that imo you would definitely miss if its your first time watching it. Not only that the mech fights are fluid even the small person-to-person scuffle are animated smoothly. Hiroyuki Sawano delivers a magnificent soundtrack for this episode and it even felt like it doesn't want to be outdone with the animation.
An episode full of tense build-up, giving us the bigger picture of the current state of the world politics and the hidden power that may bring about a new future or destroy it completely. It's a dialogue-heavy episode but if you follow the series timeline, you will know how heavy the implication is.
