The TV formatting makes it feel a little chopped up, but the introduction of the Sinanju makes up for it completely. The tension during the ship standoff is classic Gundam at its best!
Don't skip the narration at the start, it explains the scene after the OP on ep1 and it also explains some key scenes on the previous episode. To be honest the voice of the narrator in the sub was much better than the dub, the voice was soothing like a granpa telling a story to his grandchildren. This episode contains important information regarding Unicorn since the scene at ep1 was at the final stage of the project and of course there's also about Sinanju. This episode also shows the full prowess of Full Frontal, it made me chuckle hearing the phrase "moving 3x faster" again.
This episode is the introduction of the series main villain, the man who carries the same ability and spirit of the great Char Aznable with his mobile suit. Aubrey finally cannot hide her identity any longer and put into the front of the show as the episode ends. Writing wise, there's some aspect to Banagher characteristics that seems questionable but other than that it's peak, especially considering it's a 2016 release.
