If you want to see the aftermath and what happened to the Vist foundation then I suggest to watch Gundam Narrative. I couldn't fully explain what happened to Banagher at the end without giving any spoilers, let's just say to also watch Gundam Narrative to know what happened to him 😉. To conclude and make it short, the soundtrack of Hiroyuki Sawano slaps, there's no problem with the animation but some things in the story were omitted from the novel but it's fine since the story is too dark.

This is what I call peak. PEAK, I'D SAY! Watching Gundam series has always been an emotional experience for me, I grew up with this and no matter how many times I rewatch it, the same feeling bloom again in my heart. Unicorn Gundam does not have a happy end, it only shows the possibility known as "Hope" for the future.
