π SYNOPSIS
"Kemonozume" depicts a world where the Shokujinki, a race of cannibal monsters, terrorize humanity. The Kifuuken, a specialized group of beast-hunters, are tasked with eliminating these threats. Toshihiko Momota, a highly skilled swordsman and the son of the Kifuuken leader, unexpectedly encounters and falls deeply in love with Yuka, a captivating young woman. Their romance blossoms, but their connection is built on a dangerous secret. Unbeknownst to Toshihiko, Yuka is, in fact, a Shokujinki. This revelation sets the stage for a complex and perilous relationship, forcing Toshihiko to confront his duty and his heart. The series explores themes of forbidden love, duty, and the monstrous nature of both the Shokujinki and the hunters.
