EPISODE REVIEWS

What a refreshing and different anime experience! The story setup with the monsters, action, and dark horror elements was executed brilliantly. The art and animation have this gritty, sketchy aesthetic that almost feels like turning the pages of an illustrated book. Some might find the visuals unconventional, but I really enjoyed it!

This episode delivers an intensely visceral, sketch-like animation style that breaks all traditional design rules. The visual framing leans into raw, fluid brushstrokes and surreal color shifts to depict the horrifying transformation of the flesh-eating Shokujinki monsters. It immediately sets an eccentric, highly artistic, and adult-oriented tone.

The graphics were very bad. The plot looked interesting in the early part when the monster appeared, but it shifted to a slow and heavy pace with a messy plot. At the end, another adult scene occurred which is not suitable for kids at all! Overall, it left a bad first impression
