EPISODE REVIEWS

The episode opened on such a warm and wholesome note with the kind elderly couple caring for Toshihiko and Yuka, which made the ending hit even harder. The sudden tragic turn was emotionally crushing and devastating—easily the saddest, most heartbreaking episode of the entire series. I never expected things to end so painfully.

Deep psychological horror anchored by high-contrast, surrealistic dream sequences. The animation leaves physical logic behind, utilizing melting faces, floating eyes, and shifting crimson backgrounds to visualize Yuka's fractured mental state. The chaotic art style amplifies the profound existential dread of her condition.

It was a relaxing moment from the beginning until nearly the end of the episode, before it shifted to intense situations and a shocking moment! Poor Yuka and Toshihiko. At the end, it left a cliffhanger!
