What an intriguing backstory episode! Unraveling the dark past and eerie secrets kept the atmosphere intensely dangerous and gripping throughout. The unconventional graphics and layered visualizations demanded close focus to fully process, but the payoff of learning the real truth behind Kemonozume was fantastic

A grotesque but oddly humorous detour into a bizarre domestic lifestyle. The color palette turns noticeably sickly and abstract, using neon greens and muddy browns inside a cramped apartment room. The animation thrives on fluid, rubbery body movements as Yuka desperately fights her biological urge to consume human flesh.

It was a flashback episode about Jin, the Kifūken, and Ōba. A girl named Harumi played an important role. The graphics were bad, and it was almost black and white in color. But the plot saved it. It left a shocking moment at the end
