Hands down my favorite episode yet! The story hit the sweet spot between humor and excitement, especially after so many intense episodes. Saru’s return and Toshihiko’s funny struggle kept me laughing throughout. Plus, the visual style and animation quality felt much better and sharper this time around!
A touching, nostalgic look into the past that utilizes a completely desaturated, sepia-toned canvas. The scratchy, hand-drawn lines add immense weight to a tragic historical flashback sequence. The artistic transition between the previous generation's doomed love affair and the present day is executed with profound empathy.
I found this episode quite funny. It had an intense scene in the first half before shifting to a relaxing moment. The graphics were bad, but the plot saved it. There's a scene that is not suitable for kids.
